Black Thursday
Black Friday, the day of long lines, piled high shopping carts, stampedes of people, and deals no one wants to miss! Is this the true meaning of the holidays? Black Friday has always been known as the biggest shopping day of the year. Black Friday gets its name because the stores want the sales for the year to be “in the black”. It seems that Black Friday has no moved to Black Thursday with stores like Wal-Mart opening their doors at 10pm thanksgiving night. People want the deals so badly they forget the true meaning of family and thanksgiving. It’s become so crazy and commercialized there have been reports of people camping out a week and a half before Black Friday. There are even some people that haven’t even digested their turkey before heading out for the deals. Hopefully it was worth it! Obviously they weren’t someone who had to take of work .If so, they lost more money not working then what they would have saved on the deal!
A lot of people have the tradition each year to go out on Black Friday and it can be a lot of fun. I think that the really good deals this year seem to be the sales on the electronics. If you are that true deal chaser, then there were defiantly some great deals this year.
